Upgraded Exterior Look
The 2027 Silverado 1500 wears an all-new design with a bolder, more planted stance and a stronger, more expressive grille. It still looks unmistakably like a Chevy truck, just more muscular and modern.
Signature LED headlamps and taillamps are standard on every trim, and a 3-foot center high-mounted brake lamp adds rear visibility. Custom trims and above add dual exhaust, and the High Country gets an exclusive grille with Tritan Satin accents, 22-inch After Midnight-painted machine-faced wheels and an all-new High Country badge.
Nine exterior colors are offered, including three new shades: Apex Red, Pacific Blue Metallic and Trillium Green Metallic. Off-road fans can choose from three trims with a 2-inch factory lift, and the ZR2 rides on exclusive 35-inch mud-terrain tires.

Engine Options
The 2027 Silverado 1500 offers four engines, including two all-new sixth-generation V8s that replace the previous 5.3L and 6.2L. The new 6.6L V8 is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in its class, and the Duramax 3.0L is the only diesel offered in a light-duty full-size pickup.
The enhanced TurboMax now pairs with a 10-speed automatic in place of the old 8-speed. Diesel buyers on the ZR2 also get an approximately 34-gallon fuel tank for long stretches between fill-ups.

Interior Features
Inside, the 2027 Silverado 1500 is completely redesigned with bolder materials, edge-to-edge screens and smarter storage. Available dynamic ambient lighting lets you customize the cabin's mood, and Silverado-trim models add standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
The biggest new interior feature is the available Multi-Flex Center Console. Offered with front bucket seats, it folds flat into a sturdy, ergonomic workspace, so you can review paperwork, eat lunch, or set up a laptop between jobs. It also slides fore and aft and holds about 25 liters of gear, nearly a cubic foot. It pairs well with the returning Multi-Flex Tailgate for a truck that works hard inside and out.
